Glorifying the Lord With Our Lives

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
for Children
(RCIA for Children)

Children 7 years old and older who have not been baptized are welcome to explore their relationship with Jesus Christ and the teachings and practices of the Catholic Church through our RCIA for Children process. The process begins with faith learning sessions on Sunday mornings in the Stafford Room. Later in November a second component, "Dismissal," is added. Dismissal occurs at the first Sunday morning Mass when, following the Liturgy of the Word--Scripture Readings and Priest/Deacon's Homily--the children are dismissed to the Stafford Room to break open or talk about the message in the Word of God found in that Sunday's Readings..

In addition, children 7 years old and older who have been baptized in the Christian faith, but are seeking full communion with the Catholic Church by receiving the sacraments of confirmation and first holy communion are also welcome to join in the RCIA for Children process.

Information/Registration Session Fall 2017:
Sunday, Sept. 10, in the Stafford Room, 9:40 a.m.

More dates and times will be posted soon.
