Welcome to The EDGE, Sacred Heart and Assumption Parish's Middle School Youth Ministry Program. Our goal is to give our middle school kids the edge, the Catholic edge, the Jesus edge, as they go through this time of remarkable change in their lives.

The EDGE is a Catholic middle school youth ministry for early adolescents in grades six, seven and eight. The EDGE is designed to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional, and social needs of young adolescents.

The EDGE combines the best of LIFE TEEN:

• Experiential
• The best of religious education program
• Small group model - middle school youth are paired with the same CORE members and other middle schoolers for the entire year.

The Central component of the Edge Program is the Catholic Mass. Our Parish Mass geared for Youth is every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Assumption Parish.

The EDGE meets every Monday from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Assumption Parish gym.

Parental involvement is imperative. In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus scolded his disciples and told them: "Let the children come to me and do not hinder them!"
