EDGE is our middle school youth ministry program for 6th - 8th graders in Bellingham. During the school year, we meet on Sunday afternoons from 12:30 - 2:00 pm in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall. EDGE is a time for our middle school community to build faith-based friendships and grow closer to Christ. All middle school students are welcome. We constantly encourage students to live out their faith and one easy way to do that is by inviting their friends to experience God's love in a community of youth.

Agape Service Trip 2017
All students entering grades 6th-9th for the 2017-2018 school year are invited to join us for the Agape Service Trip this summer! We will spend the week of July 9-14 serving the migrant workers and families of Whatcom County. This is an amazing opportunity to give back to our community and do something productive with your summer. We have 10 available spots on the trip and registration is first-come, first-served. To register, fill out the packet below and return it to April Waldrop at the office at Sacred Heart or Assumption.
Adults, looking for a way to be involved in our programs? The most important thing is to first become one of our prayer warriors! Our prayer warriors supply the spiritual fuel for our programs. As a prayer warrior, we are asking you to:
- Sponsor one or two of our youth and commit to praying for them by name throughout the year; and
- Advocate for our youth within our parish (get to know them, share your faith with them, ask them about what they're learning, invite them to Mass, et cetera.)
If being a prayer warrior isn't enough, we are always looking for adult core team members, drivers for special events, parishioners who would like to bring a snack for Edge, or if you have a gift you want to share, email April Waldrop to discuss how you can get involved!
Passing on the faith to our youth requires the love, example, and help of the whole parish community. Thanks for the great support!
